The Department of Journalism & Corporate Communication of the United States International University-Africa in Nairobi, Kenya will host IAMCR 2021. The association's 33rd conference will explore the theme: "Rethinking borders and boundaries: Beyond the global/local dichotomy in communication studies". It has 3,000 members in 102 countries. Divided into 33 sections and working groups, it meets annually on different continents.

Dear all, Greetings on behalf of IAMCR's Journalism Research & Education Section. Please be advised that the abstract submission system shall be closed on 9th February for IAMCR 2021. IAMCR is pleased to launch a new initiative: the IAMCR Webinar Series. The idea is to open-up channels for engagement and participation in addition to the annual conference. These include presentations, debates, book and project launches. The format is flexible, the connection is what matters.
